Charlie Freedman is an audio and mix engineer with extensive experience in the New York City music scene. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Production and Recording Arts from Elon University. Having engineered in professional recording studios and spoken word-focused podcast and voiceover studios, Charlie is well-versed in best practices for many audio workflows necessary in today’s ever-evolving world of media creation. Charlie is also an experienced foley artist, dialogue and ADR editor, along with other post-production work for films. He’s also worked as a sound technician for numerous live theatre productions. He is extensively experienced in Logic, ProTools, and Izotope RX, as well as with the soldering of microphones and other vintage audio equipment.
